Pick of the Week: Green Kid Crafts (sweet deals on eco-craft kits)

I couldn’t pass this up. I thought many of you readers might be interested in this deal– I certainly am. Have you heard of Green Kid Crafts? They are a monthly delivery service which provides creative, hands-on, educational craft activities every month for your child. Each kit has enough supplies for 3 crafts, all with a nature related themes. All materials are sourced for sustainability, environmental impact, and made in the USA. This is a mom run business worth supporting! They also give to 1% for the planet to support environmental organizations.

IMG_0369I was sent one of their kits awhile back to review. This one was on world cultures and music. In it we found all the materials to make 3 instruments and information about the cultures they are from. Here’s what the box looked like:

Here are some photos of my girls creating (and performing!) with the instruments:

I’m considering a monthly subscription for my girls. You can also get single discovery boxes around themes of interest if that is a better fit.  I just visited and noticed they also now have eco-friendly birthday party favors! Oh, how I try to make my own each year, but this could sure be a time-saver. The GreenKid Craft site is also loaded with great ideas for homemade holiday gifts.

*I’m an affiliate with Green Kid Crafts, so purchases through these links supports this site. My thoughts are independent and I only share what I think will be helpful for readers and good for kids and the earth.
